Adjusting Storyboard

After critique and discussion with lecturer I have slightly adjusted my storyboard so it is more easily manageable. My biggest issue was the scene where there is a pan out of lots of knights on the horses running after Humpty. I was really worried in how difficult and long it would take to animate 6+ horses and knights all running. To remove the need for this scene I have added some extra shots with very little/subtle movement in them.

FOLLOWING FIRST SCENE OF THE WANTED POSTER:

  • Horse feet (from their knee down) scraping the ground
    • Can use the same horse legs that I have already drawn from the old scene
  • Close up of horses nostrils
    • Making puffing sounds
      • Using drawn symbols as well as speech bubbles
  • Semi-static long shot of horses on their knights waiting at the gate of the kingdom
    • Between 6 and 8
    • Small movements with horses legs and knights arms and heads
  • Cut to Humpty running
    • Same as before
  • Cut to medium close up of soldier on his horse
    • "Charge!" in speech bubbles
    • Small movement in sword and helmet/head
  • Humpty Dumpty running again
    • Have speech bubbles showing him breathing
      • "puff" & "pant"
  • Cut to horse feet again but this time running
    • Also same as the old horse running scene
  • Humpty running and stopping just before brick wall
    • Continue with same scenes in original storyboard after this
NB: All the added scenes here will be quite quick cuts, between 1 and 2 seconds each

Also to incorperate more of the Humpty Dumpty nusery rhyme text into my animation  plan on charching what the king says right before he slay Humpty Dumpty to:

"You cannot shit on that wall to escape, my dear friend. I shall cut you with my sword and bleed you of your golden treasures!"
