Humpty Dumpty Cartoons

Randomly found these while mucking around on You Tube. Was interesting to see how others have interpreted the classic Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme with a traditional styled animation. Brings back some good childhood memories too.

Also, looking at these helped me identify how I want my story to be animated. I have decided that want to keep an animation style that is typical of cartoons for kids to maintain the 'story book come to life' feel that is present with my illustrations. In this sense I want to have the movements of characters to be quite smooth and realistic. However, with Humpty Dumpty I will add a fun / humorous types of movement to make him more cartoon like. For example, when Humpty is running he will look awkward and bounce around in an unrealistic fashion. The reasoning behind this is to imitate his over sized round shape that isn't in proportion to his limbs.
