Pongo

Backstory:

When looking for a pet dog, many people go out in hopes to find a perfect pure bred puppy with adorable features and ideal temperament. Unfortunately, in this process of maintaining preferred characteristics, it is not uncommon for inbreeding to occur. Pongo and his missing paw is a direct result of being subject to this inhumane practice. Straight from birth he was shunned and unwanted, seen as an outcast that no one can love. His long lanky limbs coupled with his birth defect make Pongo extremely heavy-footed. However, the most challenging aspect about his disability is the struggle to complete even the simplest of everyday tasks that a dog undertakes. For Pongo's whole life he has had to deal with being different but it has made him more determined and persistent than most to accomplish anything he sets his mind to.   

Although Pongo isn't considered the 'perfect pet' that everyone wants in their life, his infectious personality can make anybody fall in love with him. He is warm, affectionate and sweet in nature but also can be a little hyperactive at times. All he needs is a little helping hand to make his life easier to manage. Pongo deserves to be able to live the way that all dogs should without any worry or concern for anything but his happiness.
