Storyboard Script

Introduction:

SHOT 1-
  • Introduced to character
    • Low angle front on shot of Pongo lying down
  • Ball rolls into shot from the foreground
    • From left hand side
    • Pongo's head moves up (to show interest)

Middle:

SHOT 2-
  • Pongo running across screen from right to left
    • Camera pans with movement for a short amount of time
  • Runs into an invisible wall
    • Slams into it nose first
    • Falls into a heap onto the ground
SHOT 3-
  • Over-the-shoulder shot of Pongo looking a ball in the distance
    • Tail wagging across screen
  • Zooms in slightly onto the ball
SHOT 4-
  • Mid shot from the side of Pongo running into another invisible wall
    • Moving left to right from of screen
    • Camera doesn't move
SHOT 5-
  • Repeat of shot 4 but from right to left
SHOT 6-
  • Front on mid shot running into fourth invisible wall
    • Much like the previous two shots

Climax:

SHOT 7-
  • Birds eye view of Pongo laying on the ground in a heap
    • Takes up 1/3 of the screen
  • Zooms out until ball is in shot
    • Pongo near the bottom of the screen and the ball at the top
  • Pongo howls into the air
SHOT 8- 
  • Front on shot of Pongo getting reading to run at the wall again
    • Full shot with him in the middle ground
  • Creak of a door puts him off
  • Text comes in from the right
    • "Psst" - Pongo looks around
    • "Over here" - Focuses his look to the right

Solution:

SHOT 9-
  • Close up of Pongo's feet cautiously walking
    • Focused on his front two legs
    • Camera pans with him
  • Pauses for a second then runs off screen
SHOT 10-
  • Shot of ball in the foreground to the left of the screen
  • Pongo run in from the right and picks up ball with his mouth
    • Tongue hanging out of mouth/mouth open
    • Runs off screen on the right

Ending:

SHOT 11-
  • Pongo playing with ball in the background
  • Text shows up in foreground
    • "You don't have to adopt me to help me"
    • SPCA donate now (link to website)
