2D Aspect Inspiration

Watership Down Death Rabbit-

In my mind I have a clear idea on what I want the shadow 2D graphical elements to look like. I want it to be very invading and unsettling to convey the emotions that my okapi character would be going through at his reflection point/darkest cave. Watership Down had been mentioned multiple times in class and through looking at some screenshots of the animation as well as inspired art, I found that the way that the death rabbit was illustrated reflected some what on my intentions with where I want to take my 2D elements.
