Drawing From My Own Style

When going through the drawing process of my storyboarding, I found my natural drawing style was quite sketchy and rough. I initially thought that I would not be able to work with this style very well and would need to do a computed based illustration style instead. However, when talking to Claire she assured me that I could definitely be able to use a sketchy style for my animation.

For me I thought this could be very beneficial to help develop my drawing skills as well as producing an animation that has a completely different aesthetic to what I have previously done. To help me with the drawing I can always just use photos and other images as a guide.

I found some sketchy illustrations and animations to give me a starting point for my drawings:
