Lighting

I decided on using the mental ray sun and sky to light my model as this produced the most realistic final product. The lighting pushed my model even further and really highlights the textures on all the surfaces. I am extremely happy with how this looks but will still need to do some post-production editing in after effects to take it to the next step.



I really enjoy how the light creates an even more realistic look to the ZBrush projected detail on some of the blocks.





It add a bit more depth to the final scene I decided to show the sun setting and how that affects the look and shadows of the building.


At this point I also edited the gamma input to up the contrast and make the model look less washed out.
