Brief - Initial Draft



Aim
Explore and learn about the game design pipeline, specifically focus on creating a high-poly character model and the process of bringing it into a functioning game. An understanding of the basic coding requirements will aid this investigation.
Methods and Processes
-Research the best industry standard program to model characters and assets for games
-Understand the requirements for a successful game character model
-Research the game pipeline for creating functional game characters, including some basic coding needed
-Design a high detailed character
-Model and rig the character
-UV map and texture the model
-Animate simple movements for walk, run and jump cycle
-Bring character into Unity
-Create a successful, movable character within a game
Intended Outcome
The desired end result is a fully functional, high-poly character in a basic game environment that has simple movement animations for walking, running and jumping.
